Once your package is opened, the yeast must be frozen in an airtight container.
Unopened packages of Bellarise® Instant Dry Yeast have a shelf life of 2 years, and should be stored in a cool, dry place. Once a bag is open, remaining yeast must be frozen in an airtight container. We recommend using it within 4-6 weeks after opening, if kept frozen.
Bellarise® Instant Dry Yeast should be at room temperature before using. When you are ready to bake, take out only the amount of yeast needed for your recipe and put the remaining yeast back into frozen storage.
